It sticks to glass as a dull, gray film, and on most showers it sits on top of hard water spots. Clean both layers, then seal the glass, or the film comes right back. ## Step by step 1. **Rinse the glass.** Warm water softens the top layer of scum. 2. **Lift the film.** Spray [IDEAL Conditioner](https://idealshowerdoors.com/store/p/ideal-conditioner) on the glass and work it in with a [microfiber cloth](https://idealshowerdoors.com/store/p/mfw12). It's soapless, so it doesn't leave new soap behind. 3. **Check for white spots underneath.** If the glass still looks cloudy once the film is off, hard water spots are bonded under it.
