All sales are final

Due to the nature of shipping these long seals (most are 95" lengths), items cannot be returned or exchanged. Before checkout you'll be asked to confirm that you understand all sales are final. Please double-check your glass thickness and the type of seal before you order. Our measuring guide and Seal Finder will help you pick the right one.

If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, email office@idealshowerdoors.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and we'll make it right.

Shipping

Shipping is free. Orders ship directly from CRL's warehouse, usually within 3–7 business days. Most seals ship in long lengths (typically 95"), so the box will be long.

CRL fees: from the factory, passed on at cost

We do not mark these charges up. CRL's packing and small-order fees are passed directly on to you at exactly what CRL charges us.

Your seals ship directly from CRL (C.R. Laurence), the factory that makes them. On small orders, CRL adds its own fees to the shipment. These are CRL's charges, not ours: we simply pass them on at exactly what CRL charges us. We never mark them up and we don't make a cent on them. When a fee applies, it shows as a separate line starting with "CRL" in your cart, before you pay.

CRL packing fee ($6.50, once per order)

CRL charges a one-time packing fee when an order has fewer than 10 seal lengths in total. Any mix of seals counts toward the 10, so 4 of one seal and 6 of another means no packing fee. It covers boxing up small quantities of long seals. Tape and tools don't count toward the 10. Not marked up: passed directly on at CRL's cost.

CRL small-order fee ($5.00 on orders under $50)

CRL adds a $5.00 small-order fee to orders under $50 (product subtotal, before fees and tax). Orders of $50 or more don't have it, and your cart shows how much more to add to skip it. Not marked up: passed directly on at CRL's cost.

Shipping itself is free.

Sales tax

Massachusetts orders include 6.25% sales tax on products.

How to measure your glass

See our full illustrated guide. In short: measure the thickness of the glass at an exposed edge with a tape measure or calipers. The common sizes are 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), 3/8" (10 mm) and 1/2" (12 mm). Most frameless swing doors are 3/8" or 1/2". If it's between sizes, it's almost always the closer standard size above.

Cutting seals to length

Measure the door, then cut the seal with a fine-tooth hacksaw (rigid polycarbonate seals) or sharp snips (soft vinyl). Clean the glass edge before installing.
