Metric glass: 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm
Clip-on seals are made for one glass thickness. CRL lists them in inches with a metric equivalent (for example "3/8 in. (10 mm)"), but true metric glass is not exactly the inch size, which matters for a seal that grips the glass.

Seals for brand-name and big-box store doors
DreamLine
DreamLine doors come in several thicknesses. Product listings show 5/16" (8 mm) glass on models such as Duet, and 3/8" (10 mm) on models such as Unidoor Plus and Elegance-LS. Many DreamLine sliding doors use seals shaped for their own track. Our seals may work on DreamLine doors, but they are not specifically designed for DreamLine's system. Delta
Delta lists its shower doors with 1/4" (6 mm) or 3/8" (10 mm) glass; many semi-frameless Delta doors are 1/4". Our seals may work on Delta doors, but they are not specifically designed for Delta's system. All sales are final, so measure first.
Kohler
Kohler doors vary by line: Levity listings show 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" glass versions, and Revel listings show 5/16" glass. Our seals may work on Kohler doors, but they are not specifically designed for Kohler's system. All sales are final, so measure first.
Sterling
Many Sterling pivot doors, such as Vista Pivot II, are listed with 1/4" glass, and many Sterling doors are framed. A framed door usually takes a slide-in vinyl sweep, not a clip-on seal. Our seals may work on Sterling doors, but they are not specifically designed for Sterling's system. All sales are final, so measure first.
American Standard
American Standard doors are listed with 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" glass, depending on the model. Our seals may work on American Standard doors, but they are not specifically designed for American Standard's system. All sales are final, so measure first.
Basco
Basco makes both framed and frameless doors. Listings range from thin framed-door glass (3/16" and 1/4") up to 3/8" on heavier frameless models. Our seals may work on Basco doors, but they are not specifically designed for Basco's system. All sales are final, so measure first.
Coastal Industries
Check your glass: these doors come in several thicknesses. Our seals may work on Coastal Industries doors, but they are not specifically designed for Coastal Industries's system. All sales are final, so measure first.
MAAX
MAAX lists glass in millimeters. Models such as Uptown and Halo are listed with 8 mm glass, which is effectively 5/16". Other MAAX doors use other thicknesses, so measure. Our seals may work on MAAX doors, but they are not specifically designed for MAAX's system. All sales are final, so measure first.
Home Depot / Lowe's (big-box store doors)
Big-box store doors come from many makers and in many thicknesses, from 1/4" up to 3/8" (10 mm), and many are made with metric glass. Measure the glass and the gap; the box or brand name will not tell you which seal fits. Our seals may work on these doors, but they are not specifically designed for any of these makers' systems. Replacement seals: common questions
What replacement seal fits my DreamLine, Kohler or Delta shower door?
Measure the glass thickness and the gap the seal closes, then match the seal location (bottom, hinge side, latch side, corner). Our CRL seals may work on these brands' doors, but they are not specifically designed for any brand's system. All sales are final, so measure first.
My seal's part number isn't sold anymore. What do I buy?
Look it up in our cross-reference. Many old CRL numbers are the same seal in a different pack or length (for example P990WS36 is a 10-pack of 36" pieces of P990WS). If yours isn't listed, measure your glass and gap and match the shape of the old seal.
What replaced CRL P501BRBL or P501BRW?
Those black and white one-piece bottom rails were discontinued by CRL. The clear P501BR is the same one-piece bottom rail for 3/8" glass. For a black or white bottom seal on 3/8" glass, P990WSBL and P990WSW are bottom wipes with drip rail, a different shape.
Do you sell the 10-packs of 36" bottom sweeps or the 118" and 144" lengths?
No. We sell the 95" length of the same seals (P990WS, P912WS, P501BR, P120HJ, PCC10, PCC12, PCR10 and the tape-on seals) and you cut it to fit.
What seal fits 10 mm glass?
10 mm glass is about 0.5 mm thicker than 3/8" (9.53 mm). CRL lists its 3/8" seals as 10 mm, but on true 10 mm glass a 3/8" clip-on seal will be tight and may not go on. Measure your glass. Tape-on bulb and fin seals are chosen by gap and fit any thickness.
What seal fits 8 mm glass?
8 mm is practically the same as 5/16" (7.94 mm), so 5/16" seals fit 8 mm glass.
What seal fits 6 mm or 12 mm glass?
6 mm is close to 1/4" and 12 mm is close to 1/2", but both are a little thinner than the inch size, so a clip-on seal can be slightly loose. Measure before you order.
What tape replaced CRL SD129?
SD129 is no longer listed. CAT0401436 is CRL's clear double-sided acrylic very-high-bond tape, 1/4" wide x 36', for tape-on seals sold without tape.
Can I return a seal if it doesn't fit my door?
No. All sales are final: due to the nature of shipping these long seals, items cannot be returned. Measure your glass and gap carefully before ordering.
