Framed Shower Door Sweeps (Slide-In Vinyl)
Framed shower doors have a metal bottom rail with a slot or channel. Instead of pressure fitting onto the glass, these vinyl sweeps slide into that slot from the end of the rail and wipe the curb as the door closes.
How to choose
- Look at the end of your old sweep: a 'T'-shaped top, a round bulb top, or a star-shaped tip each match a different slot.
- Compare the height (from 3/4" to 1-1/2") so the sweep reaches the curb.
- All come in 36" lengths that you trim to the door width.

How do I replace the sweep on a framed shower door?
Slide the old vinyl sweep out of the slot in the bottom rail, cut the new one to length, and slide it in from the end. Match the top shape (T, bulb or star tip) and height of the old one.
What size framed shower door sweep do I need?
Match the head shape that fits your rail slot and a height that reaches the curb without folding over. Common heights are 3/4", 13/16", 1" and 1-1/2".
