Shower Door Corner Seals: 90° and 135° Neo-Angle

When the door meets a fixed glass panel at an angle instead of in a straight line, the seal has to bend around that angle. A 90° corner happens where a return panel meets the door at a right angle; a 135° angle is the classic neo-angle shower.

Rigid corner seals pressure fit onto the glass and include a soft vinyl insert. Tape-on 'L' and 'V' seals are a simpler option for doors that swing one way.

How to choose

  • 90° (right-angle) corner: a 90° strike seal or a clear 'U' with a 90° fin.
  • 135° neo-angle: pick the door jamb seal for the hinge side of the door, or the strike jamb seal for the angled latch-side panel.
  • Tape-on 'L' and 'V' seals work on doors that swing one direction (outswing).
  • Match the glass thickness: 5/16" and 3/8" versions are available.

Common questions

What seal do I need for a neo-angle shower door?

Neo-angle showers use 135° seals. The door jamb seal pressure fits onto the hinge side of the door; the strike jamb seal fits the mitered latch-side panel. Both come in 5/16" and 3/8" glass and include a vinyl insert.

What is a 90 degree shower door seal used for?

It seals where a fixed glass panel meets the door at a right angle, such as a corner shower with a return panel.

Can I use a tape-on seal instead?

Yes, for doors that swing one way. Clear vinyl 'L' and 'V' seals tape to the glass edge or wall with clear VHB tape; pre-taped versions are available.
