Which Shower Door Seal Do I Need?

Then match your glass thickness

Clip-on seals are made for one thickness: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" or 1/2". Here's how to measure it in about a minute. Tape-on seals (bulb, fin, L, V) are chosen by the gap they close instead.

Check the gap

Each seal lists a suggested gap. With the door closed, measure the space the seal has to fill. Bottom sweeps commonly handle about 7/16"; most door-to-panel jambs are designed for about 3/16".
