Shower Door Gaskets & Glazing Vinyl

Gaskets hold the glass in a channel rather than sealing the door: the header across the top of a door, a dry-glaze U-channel at the base of a panel, or the H-bar on a sliding track. Replacing worn vinyl keeps glass tight without silicone.

How to choose

  • Header vinyl: match your header kit and glass thickness.
  • Dry-glaze U-channel: the flexible vinyl goes on the inside of the shower and the rigid vinyl on the outside.
  • Track glazing vinyl: sized by glass thickness and channel opening.

Common questions

What holds glass in a shower door header?

A clear header vinyl presses into the header channel and grips the glass. Replacement vinyl is sold by the foot.

What is dry-glaze U-channel vinyl?

It is a two-piece vinyl set (flexible inside, rigid outside) that holds glass in a U-channel without silicone.
