About this towel bar

The CRL 20" Back-to-Back Tubular Towel Bar is a back-to-back towel bar for frameless glass shower doors that fits 1/4" to 1/2" glass and mounts 20" center to center. Made by C.R. Laurence (CRL) in polished chrome.

This BM Series set puts a matching towel bar on both sides of the door, mounted back to back through the same holes. It is heavy-wall 3/4" brass tubing. It comes with decorative metal washers that sit against the glass and hide small chips around the hole, plus plastic washers so metal never touches glass. Drill two 1/2" holes 20" apart center to center, in 1/4" to 1/2" tempered glass.

  • Back-to-back pair: one bar for each side of the glass
  • 20" (508 mm) center to center
  • Heavy 3/4" (19 mm) brass tube
  • Decorative 1-1/4" (32 mm) metal washers hide small chips around the hole
  • Fits 1/4" to 1/2" (6 to 12 mm) tempered glass

Common questions

What glass thickness does the CRL 20" Back-to-Back Tubular Towel Bar fit?

1/4" to 1/2" thick tempered glass. Measure your glass at a bare edge before you order; our measuring guide shows how.

What hole spacing does it need?

Two holes 20" apart, center to center. If you're replacing a handle, measure the distance between the centers of your existing holes; it has to match.

Is it one towel bar or a pair?

A back-to-back pair: one for the inside of the door and one for the outside, with the hardware to join them through the glass.

What finishes does it come in?

Polished Chrome. Match the finish of the hinges and other hardware on your shower.

Can I return it?

No. All sales are final, so please check your glass thickness, hole spacing and finish before you order.

Replacing a handle?

Match your holes, glass and finish.

Measure center to center between your existing holes and check your glass thickness. A new handle has to match both.
