About this towel bar
The CRL 18" Back-to-Back Square Towel Bar is a back-to-back towel bar for frameless glass shower doors that fits 1/4" to 1/2" glass and mounts 18" center to center. Made by C.R. Laurence (CRL) in 7 finishes, including polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black.
The SQ Series towel bar is made from 3/4" square brass tubing with sharp, clean corners, so it pairs nicely with square-cornered hinges. It's a back-to-back set, meaning you get a bar on the inside and a matching bar on the outside of the door. There are no metal washers, so the square profile runs uninterrupted right to the glass. Drill two 1/2" (12 mm) holes 18" (457 mm) apart center to center in 1/4" to 1/2" tempered glass.

What hole spacing does it need?
Two holes 18" apart, center to center. If you're replacing a handle, measure the distance between the centers of your existing holes; it has to match.
Is it one towel bar or a pair?
A back-to-back pair: one for the inside of the door and one for the outside, with the hardware to join them through the glass.
What finishes does it come in?
