About this hinge
The CRL Geneva 074 Series Wall Mount Short Back Plate Hinge (GEN074) is a wall mount hinge for frameless glass shower doors; it fits 5/16" to 1/2" glass, and needs a mouse-ear notch 2-1/2" long x 1-3/4" deep, holes 2-1/4" apart in the glass. Made by C.R. Laurence (CRL) in 10 finishes, including polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black.
The CRL Geneva 074 Series Wall Mount Short Back Plate Hinge (GEN074). It mounts the door to the wall with a short back plate. It fits 5/16" to 1/2" thick tempered glass. Two hinges hold a door up to 80 lb and 28" wide; three hold up to 120 lb. The part that clamps onto the glass is 3-1/2" x 2-3/16" (tall x wide). The glass needs a mouse-ear notch 2-1/2" long x 1-3/4" deep, holes 2-1/4" apart, per CRL's template. It takes the same glass cut-out as the Geneva 037, Geneva 044, Geneva 092, Geneva 180 and others. Made of brass.

Glass cut-out
This hinge needs a mouse-ear notch 2-1/2" long x 1-3/4" deep, holes 2-1/4" apart in the tempered glass, per CRL's template. Tempered glass can't be cut after it's made, so a replacement hinge has to fit the cut-out already in your glass.
