Clear vs. Black Shower Door Seals: Which Should You Choose?
Clear and black versions of the same seal fit and work exactly the same. The choice is about looks.
Clear
Blends into the glass and nearly disappears. The classic choice for chrome, nickel and brass hardware.
Black
Matches matte black hardware and frames for a deliberate, modern look. Keep in mind dark seals show hard water spots and soap residue more than clear ones.
Same seal, same fit
Many of our seals come in clear and black (some in white too), like CRL P990WS, CRL P380HJ, CRL PCC10 and CRL P880WS. Choose the color on the product page.

Common questions
Do black shower door seals work as well as clear ones?
Yes. The black and clear versions of a seal have the same shape and fit. Only the color is different.
Should I get black seals with black shower hardware?
Many people do, to match the hardware. Black seals do show hard water spots more than clear ones.
