About this hinge
The CRL Cardiff Series Glass-to-Glass Mount Hinge (CAR02) is a pivot hinge for frameless glass shower doors; it fits 5/16" to 3/8" glass, and needs a corner notch 2-15/16" long x 1-1/2" deep, holes 1-7/8" apart in the glass. Made by C.R. Laurence (CRL) in 4 finishes, including polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black.
The CRL Cardiff Series Glass-to-Glass Mount Hinge (CAR02). It is a pivot hinge: the door turns on a pin instead of hanging from the side, and this one mounts glass to glass, from the door to a fixed transom or panel. It fits 5/16" to 3/8" thick tempered glass. It holds a door up to 100 lb and 31" wide. The glass needs a corner notch 2-15/16" long x 1-1/2" deep, holes 1-7/8" apart, per CRL's template. It takes the same glass cut-out as the Cardiff 01, Cardiff 07, Prima 01, Prima 0151 and others. Made of brass.

Glass cut-out
This hinge needs a corner notch 2-15/16" long x 1-1/2" deep, holes 1-7/8" apart in the tempered glass, per CRL's template. Tempered glass can't be cut after it's made, so a replacement hinge has to fit the cut-out already in your glass.
