The CRL Prima Hinge with Rear Drip Plate (PPH08). It is a pivot hinge: the door turns on a pin instead of hanging from the side, and this one mounts at the top or bottom of the door (header and floor or curb). Common questions

What glass thickness does the CRL PPH08 hinge fit?

5/16" to 3/8" thick tempered glass. Measure your glass at a bare edge before you order; our measuring guide shows how.

What glass cut-out does it need?

A corner notch 2-15/16" long x 1-1/2" deep, holes 1-7/8" apart, per CRL's glass template. Tempered glass can't be cut after it's made, so a replacement hinge has to fit the cut-out already in your glass.

How big is the hinge on the glass?

The part that clamps onto the glass is 2" x 3-5/8" (tall x wide).

How many hinges do I need?

This is one pivot hinge. A pivot door turns on two: one at the top and one at the bottom of the door.

Which other hinges use the same cut-out?

Pivot Shower Door Hinge – Prima 01 Top or Bottom Mount; Pivot Shower Door Hinge – Cardiff Top or Bottom Mount; Pivot Shower Door Hinge – Prima 06 EZ-Adjust Top Mount; Pivot Shower Door Hinge – Prima 01 #2 Pin, Top Right or Bottom Left; Pivot Shower Door Hinge – Prima 01 #1 Pin, Top Left or Bottom Right; Pivot Shower Door Hinge – Prima 05 Right Hand Offset Mount, and 9 more. Hinges that share a cut-out can replace each other on the same glass.

What finishes does it come in?

Polished Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze. Match the finish of the hinges and other hardware on your shower.

Can I return it?

No. All sales are final, so please check your glass thickness, glass cut-out and finish before you order.

Replacing a handle?

Match your holes, glass and finish.

Measure center to center between your existing holes and check your glass thickness. A new handle has to match both.
